President and Founder

Tedd Graves, President of Lovingood Records, is a seasoned performer, songwriter, and music industry professional with more than 50 years of experience. Throughout his distinguished career, Tedd has toured extensively across the United States and has shared the stage as an opening act for more than 50 major country music artists.

An award-winning songwriter, Tedd has written or co-written more than 1,000 songs, several of which have reached the No. 1 position on independent music charts. He has also recorded more than 20 albums, establishing a career built on experience, creativity, and a deep understanding of the music industry.

Together with his brother, Tim Graves—an extraordinary musician and 16-time Dobro Player of the Year—Tedd and Tim are building Lovingood Records as a home base for experienced performers and emerging talent alike. Their vision is to provide artists with the support, resources, and platform needed to develop their music, promote their work, and share their talents with audiences around the world.

TIM GRAVES

Vice President and Founder

A Grammy Award-winning musician and celebrated master of the resophonic guitar, Tim Graves has dedicated more than five decades to the art and tradition of bluegrass music.

In 2015, Tim was inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, recognizing a remarkable career that began in 1975. Over the years, he has toured extensively throughout the United States, performing both as a sideman and with his own group. His career also includes an impressive 22 years associated with the world-famous Grand Ole Opry.

Tim is renowned for his signature Tim Graves Model Beard resophonic guitar, an instrument that has become synonymous with his distinctive sound and musicianship. His accomplishments on the Dobro are equally extraordinary. He has been named Dobro Player of the Year in bluegrass music 16 times, including 14 consecutive years—a testament to his enduring influence and exceptional talent.

In 2020, Tim received the prestigious Master Gold Dobro Player of the Year award from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association (SPBGMA), becoming the first recipient in the history of the organization to receive this honor.

With a career spanning generations, Tim Graves continues to perform, create, and champion the music he loves—helping keep the rich tradition of bluegrass alive for longtime fans and new audiences alike.

The Recording Process

1.) Pre-Production - Songwriting, Song structure, Instrumentation mapping

2.) Tracking (Recording) - Mic setup, Sessions with instrumentalists, Sessions with vocalists

3.) Mixing - Engineering instrument and vocal tracks, Creating the final mix.

4.) Mastering - Final touches to the mix, Adding compression and EQ'ing all tracks for streaming and print production. Ensuring all songs are consistent in volume and tone.

5.) Distribution - Creating cover artwork and sending out for digital distribution and physical product creation.

marketing your music

1.) Digital Distrubution - Our team can handle digital distribution of your mastered EP or Album for you, or will provide formatted files for you to distribute.

2.) Setting up your marketing tools - This is where you put some elbow grease into reaching your audience and building a following. We will provide coaching on the most effective ways to get your music to your fans and help you evaluate the best ways to let them know where to find you, both online and in concert. Our team can help you optimize your social media, streaming accounts, YouTube channel and your website so your fans can find you and support what you do.
